1/2 Day Scentwork Workshop

Service Description

Our 1/2 day scentwork workshop is a great day which holds many benefits for your dog's wellbeing. The day starts when we meet at our training hub right on Cannock Chase, where you will learn about the incredible ability of the dog's nose and how to help your dog to make the most of it. You will teach your dog how to use it's unique ability to best effect. You will be using your dog to find hidden items in an indoor setting and then move outdoors for a car search in the undergrowth. After a break with supplied refreshments, we will then progress onto the beautiful Cannock Chase and will continue the scentwork and searching in the greater outdoors including a beginners course in tracking. Your dog will have the best time and you will learn how to replicate all the exercises at home and in your garden. Open to all dogs over 8 months of age that are comfortable in the close presence of other dogs and handlers. Please note: you will be working in rough, uneven and overgrown terrain as well as indoors and hence, you will need appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.
